Gulf News LevelUP, a specialised exhibition focused on higher education and career advancement, opened on Saturday at Dusit Thani Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road and runs through Sunday, September 27.
The event connects working professionals with postgraduate programmes, professional certifications and skills-training opportunities, building on the legacy of ten previous editions held under the Edufair banner. It is organised by Gulf News.
More than 20 universities and career-service providers are taking part, offering visitors information on Master's degrees, MBA and Executive MBA programmes, PhDs, diplomas and advanced professional certifications. Many of the programmes on offer are available online, in hybrid formats or on a part-time basis to accommodate working professionals.
Alongside the exhibitor booths, the expo features expert-led seminars, masterclasses and direct engagement sessions with academics and industry professionals, with much of the programming centred on emerging technologies and the skills the future workplace will demand.
Gulf News CEO Vijay Vaghela said the event reflects the media group's commitment to supporting the UAE's education sector and helping people take the next step in their careers.
Organisers describe the expo as a response to growing demand among UAE-based professionals for continuous learning, driven by fast-moving technological change and shifting workplace requirements.
