A UAE-based education payments platform called Skiply has partnered with VFS Education Services to give students and families a single digital hub for planning studies abroad, combining academic counselling with the paperwork and mobility support that usually comes from scattered sources.

Through the platform, students can access personalised education counselling, guidance on university admissions, visa application support, country-specific document checklists, help booking biometric appointments, and document upload assistance — steps that families have traditionally had to chase down separately across different offices and websites.

Amit Saincher, head of education at VFS Global, described the goal as making international education "more accessible, informed and seamless for students and families." VFS Education Services already works with universities across Europe, India and the US, and the new platform is designed to extend that existing network rather than build a separate one from scratch.

The service was developed in direct response to a recurring complaint: families receiving incomplete or inconsistent information somewhere along the long chain of choosing a university, applying, and then navigating a visa process in an unfamiliar country. Education advisers who work with UAE-based students recommend starting preparations at least a year ahead of an intended start date, since some universities set admission deadlines as early as December or January — well before most families begin looking seriously at logistics.

For UAE households weighing an overseas degree for their children, the platform's pitch is less about offering new information and more about removing the friction of having academic and immigration processes live in different places at different times.
