According to gulfnews.com, Dubai is witnessing an unprecedented food supply operation ahead of the 2025 Airshow. Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC), as the official supplier for this event, has planned to provide over 300,000 meals to guests from 98 different countries. This large-scale operation is being prepared around the clock with the hiring of nearly 2,600 staff and the establishment of two central kitchens on-site. In this exhibition, recognized as one of the largest aviation events in the world, more than 35,000 meals have been pre-booked for cabin and pavilion services. Shahrokh Nowavi, CEO of EKFC, proudly announced that the diverse culinary talents of the team enable them to authentically present dishes from various cultures, ranging from French and Middle Eastern to Indian, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisines. This project, which began in late October, is set to conclude in less than two weeks and includes a complete operational test before the opening day. By bringing all catering in-house, EKFC maintains direct control over food quality and facilitates responsiveness to last-minute requests. This event not only showcases EKFC's operational capabilities but also demonstrates the company's commitment to providing the best possible services on an unprecedented scale. Despite challenges, the team approaches this global event with a strong spirit and exemplary determination. For more images and additional information, please refer to the news source.
