Flydubai announced that starting in November 2025, all economy class passengers will be able to enjoy full meals and an advanced entertainment system during flights at no additional cost. This decision is part of Flydubai's new program aimed at enhancing the travel experience, increasing passenger satisfaction, and setting a new standard among regional airlines. According to the company’s CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, this transformation reflects Flydubai's commitment to providing a more comfortable, enjoyable, and valuable journey for all customers. The new service model will include a variety of meals inspired by international flavors, hot and cold beverages, and an updated menu for all flights. Additionally, the in-flight entertainment system has been redesigned to offer over 1,000 titles of movies, music, TV shows, and games, providing diverse options for every taste. Hamad Obaidallah, Flydubai's Chief Commercial Officer, stated: “We are introducing a new service structure to enhance the passenger experience. These changes will enable us to provide higher quality and more affordable services while maintaining our prominent position in the competitive Middle Eastern aviation market.” Flydubai currently operates a fleet of over 80 Boeing 737 aircraft to more than 120 destinations in 55 countries, and with the expansion of its services in the coming years, it aims to solidify its position as one of the leading airlines in the region. The company has emphasized that by the end of 2025, it will upgrade its entire fleet to newer Boeing 737 MAX models, with a special focus on enhancing passenger comfort, fuel efficiency, and in-flight experience.
