HealthHub Clinics, the healthcare arm of Al-Futtaim, has opened an expanded branch at UW Mall in Dubai, relocating from its previous site in Karama to accommodate a wider range of medical specialties under one roof.
The new clinic adds four specialties — cardiology, dental care, endocrinology and gastroenterology — to an already broad service list that includes dermatology, family medicine, general practice, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, physiotherapy, radiology and urology.
Dr Haider Al Enzi, managing director of Al-Futtaim Health, said the move reflects the company's approach to primary and specialist care. "Healthcare works best when it is close to the communities it serves and connected around the needs of each patient," he said, adding that the expansion is designed to strengthen access for residents and the surrounding working community while maintaining continuity with existing medical teams.
The relocation keeps the clinic's established patient base connected to the same doctors while broadening what they can treat without being referred elsewhere, consolidating coordinated, multi-specialty care in a single, mall-based location.
The expansion comes as healthcare providers in Dubai increasingly favour neighbourhood-based, multi-specialty hubs over single-specialty clinics, particularly in densely populated residential and commercial districts. Positioning the new HealthHub branch inside one of Dubai's busier shopping destinations is intended to make it easier for both residents and office workers nearby to access everyday medical care without travelling across the city.
