Dubai Basketball extended its unbeaten run in the ABA League to four games after a commanding 108-90 win over SC Derby in Round 4 of the regular season, played in front of a home crowd at Coca-Cola Arena.

Filip Petrusev was named player of the match, finishing with 13 points, four rebounds and three steals, while Dwyane Bacon added nine points and five rebounds in a balanced team performance. SC Derby's best performer on the night was Uskokovic, who recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 assists, with Okobo contributing six assists of his own.

Speaking after the game, Dubai's head coach admitted the team had struggled through the opening 10 minutes before finding its rhythm. He said the side's offence picked up once it settled into the game, but stressed that turnovers remain the deciding factor in how the team performs: the fewer mistakes committed in possession, the better Dubai Basketball plays as a unit.

The result marks the club's fourth straight win of the ABA League season and keeps it at the top of the standings heading into the next round. Attention now shifts to the EuroLeague, where Dubai Basketball travels to Germany on Thursday to face Bayern Munich in a fixture expected to provide a much sterner test than Sunday's comfortable victory over SC Derby. The club has built its campaign on consistent defensive pressure and depth off the bench, qualities that will be tested against one of Europe's traditional basketball powers this week.
