Jake Paul, the American boxer and social media personality, has announced a Christmas Eve return to the ring, with a fight scheduled for December 24, 2026, in Dubai. The bout will be his first since a December 2025 loss to Anthony Joshua, a fight in which Paul suffered a broken jaw.
Paul currently holds a professional record of 12 wins and two losses. His opponent for the Dubai card has not yet been confirmed. "We've got plenty of names on the list; let's see who signs the contract," he said, indicating an announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
Explaining his choice of venue, Paul said: "Dubai is a city that thinks big, breaks boundaries, and doesn't believe in limits. That's exactly the kind of place I want to make my comeback." He added that he has spent years proving doubters wrong by taking risks and facing opponents few expected him to fight.
The event is being staged by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, continuing the emirate's push to host high-profile combat sports cards. Further details on the opponent and the rest of the fight card are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
