Abu Dhabi-based healthcare technology company M42, in partnership with Microsoft, unveiled a new artificial intelligence platform called Ossi at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit in October 2026. The system is designed to streamline clinical workflows and cut the administrative burden on doctors.

Ossi runs on four AI agents that support physicians before, during and after patient visits. A Patient Summary Agent compiles a patient's medical history ahead of an appointment, a Scribing Agent transcribes consultations into clinical notes in real time, a Chat Agent answers questions about patient data and surfaces clinical best practices, and a Coding Agent pulls relevant medical codes directly from clinical documentation. the platform could let doctors spend up to 60 percent more time with patients, and cut pre-visit file-review time for oncology consultations from three to four hours down to under 15 minutes. Ossi is already running across seven M42 centres in the UAE and Bahrain.

M42's chief digital officer described the platform as one "built by and for people here in Abu Dhabi," adding that it integrates with existing electronic medical record systems rather than replacing them.
