Airlines flying between the UAE and India are offering competitive fares as demand builds ahead of the Dussehra and Diwali travel season. Dussehra falls on October 20 and Diwali on November 8 this year, with fare checks covering the travel window from October 19 to November 9. one-way tickets from Dubai and Sharjah to Bengaluru start from as low as Dh945. Fares to Kochi begin around Dh1,042, to Hyderabad from Dh1,017, to Mumbai from Dh1,072 and to New Delhi from Dh1,439. Some routes carry noticeably higher prices, including Varanasi at roughly Dh2,303 and Jaipur at about Dh1,426, reflecting lower seat availability on those sectors.
Air India, Air India Express and Air Arabia are among the carriers serving the corridor. Air India, together with its Express arm, operates 272 weekly flights between India and the UAE combined, with 54 of those flown directly under the main Air India brand. The airline's winter schedule runs from October 26 through March 31.
Airline representatives say bookings have been healthy so far, with stronger numbers expected through October and November as the festive season approaches. Travel agents are advising passengers to book early, warning that fares are likely to climb from mid-October onward as seats fill up. The UAE's large Indian community typically travels in large numbers during this period to be with family for the festivals, making it one of the busiest stretches of the year on the Dubai-India route.
