Dubai's Global Village will celebrate UAE Flag Day with a spectacular aerial display of 700 illuminated drones on Tuesday, November 3, starting at 8pm.

The drones will form patterns in the colours of the UAE flag — red, green, white and black — lighting up the night sky over the park. The show is the centrepiece of the evening's festivities, and families and visitors are invited to take part.

Alongside the drone display, guests will receive UAE flags on arrival, and Global Village's landmark structures will be lit up in the national colours for the occasion. A dedicated UAE pavilion will showcase traditional handicrafts, local products and Emirati delicacies, while the park's usual mix of international shopping and dining will also be open to visitors.

Tickets can be purchased through the Global Village website, its mobile app, or at gate ticket counters on the night.

UAE Flag Day falls on November 3 each year, marking the day Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan formally assumed the presidency, and is marked across the country with the national flag raised on public and private buildings. Global Village traditionally hosts one of Dubai's biggest Flag Day celebrations, drawing large crowds of residents and tourists alike. The drone show has become one of the most anticipated features of the night, giving visitors a striking visual tribute to the nation.
