As Global Village's 31st season kicks off on October 14, 2026 and runs through May 2027, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out four dedicated bus routes designed to make the popular destination easier to reach without a private car. Route 102 departs from Al Rashidiya Bus Station every 60 minutes, Route 103 runs from Union Bus Station every 40 minutes, Route 104 leaves Al Ghubaiba Bus Station every 60 minutes, and Route 106 departs from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station every 60 minutes. The four starting points are spread across different parts of Dubai, giving residents from multiple areas of the city a direct public-transport option to the site.
The buses are equipped with modern amenities and updated safety features, and RTA said the routes were specifically designed with families and tourists who rely on public transport in mind, rather than only serving residents who already live near Global Village.
Alongside the new bus routes, RTA also announced the return of its electric abra service inside Global Village — two eco-friendly vessels offering leisure trips and sightseeing along the destination's waterways, giving visitors another way to experience the site beyond its market stalls and rides.
The move fits into RTA's broader push to strengthen public-transport links to Dubai's major tourism and entertainment destinations and reduce reliance on private vehicles. Global Village draws millions of visitors from across the UAE and abroad each season, and better bus connectivity is expected to ease pressure on roads surrounding the site during the new season's busiest months, particularly on weekends and during school holidays when attendance typically peaks.
