• Device info/IDs: Android device ID (ANDROID_ID) and device model for authentication and device management.
• Location (optional): Approximate or precise location if available (e.g., saved last location) to improve app functionality and show location-based content.
• Camera: For scanning QR codes, taking profile pictures, and capturing photos to share with other users.
• Microphone/Audio: For voice calls and voice messages between users within the app.
• Phone features: To initiate phone calls directly from the app to other app users.
• Contacts (optional): To help you find friends who are using the app (only with your explicit permission).
• Phone number from contacts: To match and suggest friends who also use the app.
• Storage/Media: To save photos, videos, downloads, and app updates on your device.
• Push notification token (FCM): Firebase Cloud Messaging token to send you notifications about messages, calls, and app updates.
• Network state: To check internet connectivity and optimize app performance.

Why we use data

• Account & Authentication: Creating your account, signing you in securely, and preventing abuse.
• App functionality: Providing core features like messaging, calling, and content sharing.
• Social features: Helping you find and connect with friends through contact matching (only with your permission).
• Communication: Enabling voice calls, messaging, and media sharing between users.

• Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.
• We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
• You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

Your choices & rights

• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your account and data at any time.
• You can turn off location permissions in your device settings; the app will continue to work without location features.
• You can deny contact access; you'll still be able to use the app but won't see friend suggestions.
• You can disable notifications in your device settings if you don't want to receive push notifications.
• All permissions are requested at runtime and can be revoked through your device settings.

Account & data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data:

• Use the in-app deletion option in Settings > Account > Delete Account, or
• Submit a deletion request at: dubairahnama.net/account-deletion, or

We will process your deletion request within 30 days and permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
