The 27th General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Dubai 2025) commenced on November 12, with the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. This global gathering, titled "The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Societies," plays a key role in strengthening Dubai's position as a center for culture and creativity by bringing together over 4,500 museum professionals, cultural leaders, and decision-makers. This event, held for the first time in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, emphasizes the importance of cultural innovations. Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chair of Dubai Culture, visited the museum exhibition showcasing innovations from over 100 international institutions. In her keynote address, Sheikha Latifa highlighted the power of culture in shaping the future of humanity, describing the conference as "a bridge connecting creativity, vision, and cultures."
