Organisers of Dubai K-Fest have announced that the festival's opening concert, originally scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, at Festival Bay in Dubai Festival City Mall, featuring Korean singer Kwon Eunbi, a former member of IZ*ONE, and boy band ONEUS, has been postponed.
The decision follows the declaration of a 10-day official mourning period in Dubai, during which the Ruler's Court has suspended public entertainment activities. Dubai K-Fest, organised in partnership with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), has not yet set a new date for the opening concert, saying details will be announced at a later stage.
Organisers have asked ticket holders and fans to monitor the official K-Fest and Dubai Festival City Mall channels for updates on the rescheduled programme. The rest of the festival's line-up, originally planned to run through early October, has also not yet been confirmed for new dates.
The concert is among several cultural and entertainment events in Dubai that have been rescheduled following the announcement of the mourning period. Authorities have asked residents and visitors to follow official notices regarding changes to the city's public events during this period.
