Global Village, one of Dubai's most-visited cultural and entertainment destinations, opens its 31st season tomorrow, October 14, at 6pm on its 17.2 million square foot site in Dubailand. This year's edition brings together 29 country pavilions spanning regions from Europe to Japan and South Korea.

Opening night is built around a "Parade of the World" featuring music and cultural performances, a choir show, and a 600-drone sky display at 8pm. Live music and dance performances begin at 7:20pm, alongside carnival rides and games, international food stalls, and pavilions dedicated to fragrance, homeware and skincare, plus prize giveaways for visitors.

From the day after opening, operating hours settle into the regular seasonal pattern: 4pm to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and 4pm to 1am Thursday through Saturday and on public holidays.

New for this season are additions such as Tokyo Rush, Bollywood Idol and Kids Passport, joining the event's long-running pavilions to offer fresh experiences for families and tourists alike. Global Village draws millions of visitors from across the UAE and abroad each winter, and has become one of the defining fixtures of Dubai's tourism calendar.
