Nearly 10,000 security officers have been deployed in the city to hold 48 fireworks displays at 40 different locations. These celebrations, which include the Burj Khalifa, Global Village, and famous resorts in Dubai, reflect the emirate's determination to host global events and maintain its reputation.
The Dubai Event Security Committee (ESC) announced its full readiness at a press conference, reporting collaboration with 55 government and private entities. Major General of Security and Operations, Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, emphasized that Dubai is divided into four operational sectors to enhance coordination for this major event.
Support services include 37 assistance tents providing police services, first aid, and guidance to visitors. As the New Year approaches, a large crowd is expected to participate in these celebrations, and officials have urged people to follow safety guidelines.
Meanwhile, 1,754 firefighters are on standby in five different sectors to ensure safety throughout the event. Safety inspections have been conducted at 306 facilities, and 156 specialized vehicles are ready to provide services.
