Dubai-based developer Citi Developers has appointed New System Engineering (NSE) as the main contractor for Arya Residences, a waterfront residential project on Dubai Islands. The agreement was signed on September 25 at the Citi Developers sales centre, marking the project's move from piling works into the main construction phase.
Arya Residences sits within the Dubai Islands waterfront, an area that has drawn growing developer interest in recent years as one of the emirate's newer coastal destinations. The development will offer a mix of unit types, from one-bedroom apartments to duplex penthouses, all furnished and fitted with private sky pools and smart-home technology. According to the developer, the site is roughly a minute's walk from the marina and about a two-minute drive from the beach.
Planned amenities include an executive business lounge, private spa suites, a fitness pavilion, a cinema and rooftop leisure areas for residents.
Announcing the appointment, the companies said NSE "will carry out the works under the main construction contract, working with Citi Developers to advance the project's construction programme with a focus on quality and coordinated delivery."
The signing signals that Arya Residences has cleared its initial infrastructure stage and is entering a more active building phase, with the developer aiming for an uninterrupted construction schedule going forward. The move comes as Dubai Islands continues to see a wave of new residential launches from multiple developers, with Arya Residences among the latest projects to reach its main construction stage in the area.
No unit pricing, handover date or total project value has been disclosed by either company at this stage.
