Dubai Sports Council, together with World Triathlon and the UAE Triathlon Federation, has confirmed that the second edition of the World Triathlon Women's Cup will take place on December 6, 2026, at Al Mamzar Beach Park. The race remains the only triathlon event on the global calendar dedicated entirely to female athletes.

Competitors can choose between two distances: a Super Sprint for amateurs, consisting of a 400m swim, 10km bike and 2.5km run, and a Sprint distance open to both amateurs and elites, covering a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run. Both distances can be raced individually or as relay teams of up to three members, with a minimum participant age of 18.

The winner of the elite race will earn 500 Olympic ranking points, a result that can carry real weight for athletes working toward Olympic qualification. A separate Emirati category will also recognise the top three finishers among UAE nationals in both individual and team competitions.

Entry fees follow an early-bird structure: registering before November 13 costs Dh240 for individuals and Dh480 for relay teams, rising to Dh300 and Dh600 respectively from November 14 onward. The day before the race, December 5, an event village will open at the venue with family activities and wellness sessions for visitors and athletes alike.

Hosting this event again cements Dubai's growing reputation as a venue for international endurance sport, and given its unique all-women format, organisers expect strong interest from competitive and amateur female triathletes from around the world, with registration numbers likely to build steadily as the early-bird deadline approaches in mid-November.
