As October 2026 approaches, the UAE's events and attractions calendar is filling up with the reopening of several popular destinations and the launch of major citywide initiatives.
Dubai Parks and Resorts, home to Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai Resort and The World of Riverland, reopens on October 7. Spanning around 25 million square feet, it remains one of the region's largest entertainment destinations.
Dubai Miracle Garden opens its 15th season on October 8 with new floral displays and themed attractions, and tickets are already on sale. Dubai Safari Park follows on October 12 with a fresh brand identity — "Live More Wild Life" — alongside a new "Royal Safari Experience," a four-hour private guided tour for groups of up to 10 people.
Culturally, the Abu Dhabi Festival runs from October 10 to December 19, bringing a programme of music, performances and cultural events to the capital.
Dubai's flagship seasonal attraction, Global Village, opens its 31st season on October 14 under the theme "A More Wonderful World," running through May 2027; VIP entry packages are available via the Coca-Cola Arena website.
On the fashion front, Dubai Fashion Week takes place from October 22 to 26 at Dubai Design District (d3), showcasing Spring/Summer 2027 collections, while Global Food Week runs October 6-8 at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Rounding out the month, the 10th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge kicks off on October 31 and continues through November 29 with a citywide programme of community sports and fitness events.
