Global Village in Dubai is one of the largest cultural, entertainment, and tourism complexes in the United Arab Emirates, attracting millions of visitors from around the world each year. This popular destination is entering its 30th season this year, and its officials have promised that the new season will be more magnificent and exciting than ever before. According to an official report published on the Gulf News website, the opening ceremony of the new season will take place on October 15, 2025, at 6 PM. This event will feature a stunning display of 600 synchronized drones, a massive fireworks show, and professional parachutists soaring through the skies of Dubai. The opening program, themed "30 Years of Wonder," will commemorate three decades of successful operation for this complex. In this season, visitors will be able to experience new sections, including the Dragon Kingdom, which offers an interactive and thrilling experience with 11 different themed rooms. Additionally, a special section has been designated to showcase Dubai's police supercars, allowing tourists to get an up-close look at the city's security technology and equipment. This year's drone and parachute display is designed to illuminate the night sky with thousands of colored lights in the shape of the UAE flag, the Global Village emblem, and the number 30. Following this, a synchronized fireworks show set to music and special lighting will create a festive atmosphere over the skies of Dubai. The main lake of the complex has been completely renovated and is now known as Dragon Lake. This area features new laser and fire displays, adding a modern and spectacular touch to the nights at Global Village. Furthermore, the main stage of the complex has been refurbished for concerts and cultural programs, providing greater capacity and facilities for spectators. Officials at Global Village have announced that the 30th season will run from October 15, 2025, to May 10, 2026. This season is expected to witness unprecedented popularity, as the previous season saw over 10.5 million visitors, setting a new record in the history of this tourist destination.
